His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, discussed ways to develop existing economic and trade cooperation frameworks with Mongolia and develop it towards more advanced and prosperous prospects
This came during a meeting with His Excellency at the Ministry’s headquarters in Dubai, with a high-level delegation from Mongolia headed by His Excellency Badilhan Hafidislam, Minister of Construction and Urban Development.
The two ministers discussed opportunities and areas of cooperation in sectors of mutual interest, notably the infrastructure projects, logistics services, aviation and tourism, and ways to enhance the volume of trade exchanges by taking advantage of the opportunities and capabilities available to both parties.
The meeting was attended by Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Shehhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy for Economic Affairs, and\” Zorget Shingo\”, Non-Resident Ambassador of Mongolia to the UAE, along with a number of officials from both sides.
Minister Al Mansouri affirmed that the UAE is keen to expand the scope of its economic and commercial partnerships and to enhance the frameworks of cooperation with various countries of the world, noting that Mongolia has strong ties with the UAE, which must be translated into the volume of trade and economic exchanges, and joint work to explore opportunities for partnerships Investment
He pointed out that the tourism sector is one of the sectors that holds many promising opportunities for bilateral cooperation, whether in terms of investment in tourism infrastructure or promoting the exchange of tourism delegations between the markets of the two countries, as well as the air transport sector and cooperation to open direct airlines between the cities of the two countries because of its direct impact on the ease of movement of businessmen and investors and then the development of the tourist and commercial exchange movement
Al-Mansoori pointed out that the logistics and transportation sector is one of the sectors that holds opportunities for joint cooperation, through the infrastructure projects being implemented in Mongolia\’s markets to serve the commercial and industrial sectors, and the UAE\’s vast capabilities and capabilities in this regard.
For his part, the Mongolian minister reviewed his country\’s efforts in developing the infrastructure that serves the commercial and tourism sectors, as a new airport was developed in the country that will be opened next July, along with a number of efforts to develop the transportation and logistics system in Mongolia.
He added that his country has a number of competitive advantages in mining ores, in particular gold and zinc, in addition to having a large animal wealth and a number of agricultural commodities, pointing to his country\’s keenness to improve relations between the two countries in all developmental areas and to benefit from the vast potentials and expertise enjoyed by the UAE And Emirati companies and create fruitful partnerships that bring mutual benefit to both countries
